Syria Crude Oil Trade
In 2009 TPIC realized the sales of 80 thousand tons heavy crude oil, purchased from Syria, to the international markets by sea transport.
Caspian Basin Product Trade
Under the project, 240 thousand tons oil product was taken from the Turkmenbasi Refinery and sold to Iran by sea transport between 2008-2010.
Iraq Fuel Oil Trade
After the USA occupation in Iraq, a contract including Fuel oil purchase against kerosene was signed with the Iraq State Petrol Marketing Company (SOMO). In this scope, 30 thousand tons fuel oil brought to the Turkey by land transport was sold to the international markets by sea transport in the period of 2003-2006. Then, 327 thousand tons Fuel Oil brought to Turkey against cash within the scope of the contract with SOMO was sold from the Ceyhan terminal to the international market in the period of 2008-2009.
Syria LPG Trade
Between 2008-2010, 153 thousand tons LPG loaded on land tankers from the AYGAZ/Ceyhan Plant was sold to the Syria State Petrol Marketing Company (SYTROL) over the Cilvegözü Border Gate.
Habur-Tasiş Diesel Trade
78 thousand tons storage excess diesel obtained from the land transport at the Habur Border Gate by Discharge Works General Directorate (Tasiş) was sold to internal market through TPIC between 2003 – 2005.
Iraq Crude Oil Trade
Between 2000-2003, total 5,4 million tons crude oil was sold to Tüpraş after being brought from Iraq through land transport within the scope of the UN Project “Crude Oil Sales against Food”.
Iraq-Petroleum Products Trade
Following the USA occupation in Iraq, part of the Diesel, Benzine, Kerosene and LPG requirements of Iraq was covered by TPIC between 2003-2007. Within this scope, 1417 thousand petroleum products supplied from Tüpraş and international market were delivered to Iraq Petroleum Marketing Company SOMO through land transport and railway.
Iraq-Habur Diesel Trade
1.8 million tons diesel brought to TPIC/Habur plant in fibre storage within the scope of the Border Trade from Iraq were sold by TPIC to the national fuel oil distribution companies between 1999-2002.
