Seismic Vessel Explorations
As a vessel management unit, seismic exploration activities are continued with the vessel named Barbaros Hayreddin Paşa which was transferred to our company on 7 February 2018. Based on the 5-year agreement, signed between TPAO and TPIC on geophysical services, TPIC continues its offshore seismic exploration operations on behalf of TPAO in Turkish seas. Within the framework of National Energy Policy conducted under the leadership of our Ministry, Barbaros Hayreddin Paşa, the most modern and the highest capacity 3D seismic exploration vessel of Turkey, continues to take firm steps towards becoming a 100% Turkish vessel on the way to nationalization with its qualified Turkish staff who were trained and gained experience in Turkey and abroad.
As vessel management, our priority objectives are;
1-To work with 100% Turkish staff in our vessels operating in Turkey,
2-To make necessary arrangements in our vessels by closely following the national and international legislation on offshore industry,
3-To keep up with technological innovations in the field of marine seismology, apply and update the necessary hardware and software,
4-By establishing an indepedent vessel management system, to carry out vessel operation within its own body.
